Wall Sawing
Wall cutting works for new doors, windows, staircases and more
Wall sawing is a technique in which a diamond-bladed cutting unit is mounted on a track system to create precise openings in concrete and reinforced concrete walls, floors and ceilings. Rather than cutting with a sharp edge, the rotating diamond blade works abrasively — the diamond particles embedded around its rim grind away the material as they make contact with the surface.
A continuous flow of water during cutting both cools the blade and suppresses the dust produced, resulting in clean, accurate cuts with straight edges. The method is used for a wide range of applications, from new door, window and utility openings to large panel cuts in renovation and demolition projects.
